Laos

Beautiful Laos school girl.

Thirty hours on the "slowboat" from Huay Xai to Luang Prabang. The boat didn't make landfall at Pak Beng by sunset the first night, so with no dinner and no blankets the 70 or so of us spent a cold night on the deck of the boat.

Slowboat on the Mekong River at sunset.

Monk on the Bamboo Bridge crossing the Nam Khan River.

Street vendor in Luang Prabang from whom we purchased a scarf.

Colorful dragon fruit - shakes available at local food carts.

Exquisite Wat Pa Phai.

Cute girl along the bank of the river.

Young monks at Wat Si Bun Heulang.

Incredible original paintings ......
..... and the artist at work in her studio.

Tadan - a local street vendor - posing.

Reclining Buddha at Wat Tham Phu Si.

Cycling along the back roads.
